*Phenomenal Recipes*

The following recipes are ones that I have made myself.  All of these recipes are fairly easy and are DAMN good! Since I did not create the recipes myself, I have included the link to where I found the recipes.

Slow Cooker Cilantro Lime Chicken –  This is the best chicken taco meat I have ever had! SOOOOO delicious!
Easy Spinach Queso – This is awesome queso and it only requires 3 ingredients.  I am a queso connoisseur so I know good queso! I am not the type who likes to eat plain queso (velvetta and rotel).  I like to spice things up! Great for a party!
Spinach Salsa Queso – I made this for a pot luck dinner once and it was a HUGE hit! Needless to say, it was gone by the end of the dinner! I have to say this is my favorite queso EVER! The cream cheese is what makes it so addicting! I used a HEB specialty brand salsa and I believe the flavor was tomato garlic.  It gave such nice flavors to the cheese dip! There are so many varieties of salsa so you this gives you a chance to make it your own. You could also use homemade salsa – I bet that would be crazy good!
Crescent Roll Asparagus Spirals – This is an easy little side dish! Just wrap asparagus in crescent rolls and bake! In this recipe, the lady used EVOO, salt, pepper, and cheese, however, when I made them I just used the 2 main ingrediants and they were still delish!
Chili’s Copycat Skillet Queso – As bad as this may sound, I am a fan of Chili’s. It was one of the few restaurants in my hometown so it was a go to when I was a teen.  My mom actually used to eat at the original Chili’s before it became a chain. Anywho – I love Chili’s skillet chili queso.  This recipe is a great copy-cat.  When I made it, I did not use the cayenne pepper (because I did not have any), but it still tasted very close what they serve in Chilis.
Panera Bread’s Broccoli Cheese Soup Copycat– Broccoli cheese soup is probably my favorite kind of soup.  I love this recipe. It’s great, but it not super easy. It takes some time, but is worth it in the end.  DO NOT use prepackaged shredded cheese that you buy in the grocery store.  Grate your own cheese from a block or otherwise, it will be grainy. This goes for any cheesy sauces, soups, mac n cheeses, etc.
Cheesy Mac N Cheese -This stuff is to DIE for!  I made this for a “Friendsgiving” dinner last year and everyone loved it! My sister made this first and I had to have the recipe and make it for myself!! If you aren’t familar with making a Roux – listen up.  A roux is just wheat flour and fat. In my case, it was butter and flour.  You cook those together to get your base and then you add in your cream (in this case half and half).  You need to babysit the roux and continue mixing it until its cooked.  Also, you need to let the pan cool down a bit before pouring in the cream.  If you don’t do this, your milk/cream can curdle. Once again, grate the cheese yourself! And use an artisan cheese for best results!
Crock Pot Cream Cheese Chicken Chile – This is a great choice for dinner! Very very tasty!  Just throw all the ingrediants in the crock pot in the morning before work and come home to a nice, hearty meal.  All you will need to do is cook up some Minute rice and you have an appetizing meal for the whole family !
Oven Baked Tacos – This recipe is a clever spin on your typical ground beef tacos.  Spice up your taco night with these! I don’t ever cook plain tacos anymore since I have discovered this recipe!
Easy Garlic Chicken – Not only is this recipe SUPER EASY, but it is also incredibly succulent! Add 2 sides to this chicken and you have dinner !
Cheddar Bacon Ranch Chicken Pasta – This is basically a “ranch” carbonara.  It is reallyyyyyy yummy!! When stirring in the milk, be sure to cool the pan down so the milk does not curdle.

More to come….
